APC Officially Declares Governor Sim Fubara as Rivers APC Leader
The National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Felix Morka, has openly declared that Governor Sim Fubara is now the political leader of the APC in Rivers State.Political analytics software
Speaking on Channels Television, Morka stated:
«“The leader of the party is the governor of Rivers State… The governor is the leader of our party in all the states.”»
He however clarified that governors do NOT control party primaries, insisting that only the APC National Working Committee (NWC) has the constitutional power to conduct primaries.
This latest declaration is already sending shockwaves across Rivers politics, especially as many are watching the growing cold war between Fubara and Wike’s camp.
Is this APC finally handing full control of Rivers structure to Fubara?
Or is this the beginning of another political showdown?
