The lawmaker representing Owo Constituency I in the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Oluwole Ogunmolasuyi, has extended warm greetings and heartfelt felicitations to Muslim faithful as they celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir festival.

In his Eid message released to Newsmen in Akure, the State Capital, Ogunmolasuyi congratulated Muslims in Owo Constituency, Ondo State, and across Nigeria on witnessing yet another occasion of the sacred celebration, which symbolizes sacrifice, obedience, faith, and devotion to God.

The lawmaker noted that Eid-el-Kabir is a period of reflection and spiritual renewal, urging citizens to embrace the lessons of the season by promoting peaceful coexistence, unity, love, and mutual understanding among people irrespective of ethnic, religious, or political differences.

According to him, the progress and development of Nigeria can only be achieved when citizens collectively place national interest above personal or sectional considerations. He stressed the need for Nigerians to remain committed to values that foster harmony and strengthen the nation’s social fabric.

Ogunmolasuyi also encouraged citizens to use the festive season to show kindness and compassion to one another, particularly to the less privileged, widows, orphans, and vulnerable members of society, noting that the true spirit of Eid extends beyond celebration to acts of generosity and service.

He called on Nigerians to continue praying for peace, security, and sustainable development across the country, while expressing optimism that with unity and collective effort, the nation can overcome its challenges and attain greater progress.

The Ondo lawmaker further appealed to citizens to maintain peace during and after the festivities and continue supporting efforts aimed at building a more prosperous and united Nigeria.

He concluded by wishing Muslim faithful a joyful Eid-el-Kabir celebration filled with peace, happiness, blessings, and renewed hope for a better future.
