Chief Lawrence Adenugba Celebrates Muslims at Eid-el-Kabir
Chief Lawrence Adenugba has extended warm greetings to Muslim faithful as they celebrate the sacred festival of Eid-el-Kabir, urging Nigerians to embrace peace, unity, and the spirit of sacrifice which the occasion represents.
In his Eid message, Chief Adenugba described Eid-el-Kabir as a significant period of reflection, devotion, and compassion, inspired by the unwavering faith and obedience demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim. He noted that the celebration reminds humanity of the importance of selflessness, love for one another, and dedication to the service of God and society.
According to him, Nigerians should use the festive season to strengthen bonds of unity irrespective of religion, ethnicity, or political affiliation. He emphasized that national growth and development can only thrive in an atmosphere of peace, tolerance, and mutual understanding.
Chief Adenugba also called on citizens to remember the less privileged during the celebration by extending kindness and support to those in need. He encouraged Muslim faithful to continue praying for the progress, stability, and prosperity of Nigeria.
