Out of an intense pool of over 1,000 tech innovators across the country, Ondo State-born tech talent Bamidele Stephen has emerged as one of the top three national finalists in the highly competitive Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Kingdom Hack 3.0 Competition.

Bamidele, a Banking and Finance graduate from the prestigious Ebonyi State University, secured his spot in the top three following a rigorous selection process that tested the technical viability, creativity, and real-world impact of the participants’ solutions.

A Month-Long Journey of Innovation

The road to the grand finale began roughly a month ago when tech enthusiasts, developers, and problem-solvers submitted their expressions of interest. The competition quickly heated up as organizers commissioned the official project tasks, setting off weeks of intensive development and review.

As the competition progressed into Stage Two, the selection process incorporated a mix of professional evaluation metrics alongside public engagement. Finalists were rigorously screened based on technical execution, innovation, scalability, and public voting, which played a major role in determining who advanced.

Following the conclusion of these multifaceted assessments, the organizers officially announced the final three contestants, with Bamidele standing out as a premier contender representing Ondo State on the national stage.

The Grand Finale: Maximizing the New “CampLink App”

The competition is set to reach its climax tomorrow, Saturday, June 27, when the final three innovators go head-to-head to determine the overall national winner.

During this ultimate stage, each finalist will deliver an oral presentation pitching a comprehensive strategy to maximize the potential of the newly designed RCCG “CampLink App.” The presentations will focus on how the mobile application can be leveraged to drive community engagement, optimize administrative efficiency, and enhance user experience during major church events and daily operations.

With his background blending financial principles from Ebonyi University with technology, eyes are on Bamidele Stephen to see if he will bring the grand prize home to Ondo State.
