OLORI OLUWATOYIN ADETONA THANKS CHAIRMAN OWOLABI ESAN FOR REWARDING UTME HIGH-FLYERS
The Immediate Past President of the Council of Oloris in Akoko Northwest Local Government Area, Ondo State, and wife of the Owa of Ogbagi Akoko, Olori Oluwatoyin Veronica Adetona, has expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Executive Chairman of Akoko Northwest Local Government, Hon. Owolabi Esan.
Olori Adetona thanked the Chairman for rewarding her daughter, Miss Adetona Oluwatoni, with a cash gift of Fifty Thousand Naira (₦50,000) after scoring 327 in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME.
She described the gesture as kind, encouraging, and a clear demonstration of the Chairman’s commitment to academic excellence and youth development in Akoko Northwest.
She prayed for God’s guidance and greater success for the Chairman as he continues to support and inspire young scholars across the LGA.
Similarly, Chairman Owolabi also rewarded two other outstanding students from the Local Government with ₦50,000 each to encourage hard work and excellence.
The overall best is Jeremiah Olamide Adebayo from Iye Akoko with a score of 354, while the second is Bello Opeyinka Oluwasegunota from Arigidi Akoko with 328.
The Chairman noted that the reward is to show that there is always recognition for diligence and excellence in all endeavours.
