NURTW Chairman £scapes Alleged Ass∆ssination Attempt, Surv!ves Serious Road Cr∆sh.
The Abia State Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), and the Convener of the Local Boys For Otti Movement, Comrade Chukwuma Azode, popularly known as “China,” was reportedly involved in a ghastly road accident in the early hours of Sunday, July 5, 2026, while allegedly fleeing a suspected assassination attempt.Time & Calendars
Eyewitnesses said Azode’s Toyota Camry crashed into a road median at Brass Junction, Aba, as he tried to evade a black Lexus RX 350 SUV that was reportedly pursuing him at high speed.
Security operatives attached to Operation Crush were said to have responded swiftly to the scene.
As of the time of filing this report, Azode is said to be hale and hearty and is receiving medical attention.
