2027: Falaiye Promises Effective Representation and People-Focused Leadership

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate for Ondo Central Senatorial District, Gbenga Falaiye, has declared that Ondo State needs a new political direction beyond the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Falaiye, who is seeking to represent Ondo Central in the National Assembly, said the NDC is prepared to offer an alternative political platform focused on the welfare, aspirations and economic wellbeing of the people.

Speaking on the political situation in the state, the NDC candidate said the people of Ondo State have experienced governance under the major political parties for years and should now have the opportunity to embrace a different option.

According to him, the NDC is committed to putting citizens at the centre of governance by promoting policies and initiatives that will directly improve living standards, create opportunities for young people and strengthen economic activities across the state.

Falaiye said his ambition is driven by the desire to provide effective representation for the people of Ondo Central and contribute to legislation that addresses the challenges confronting ordinary citizens.

He maintained that politics should be about service and measurable impact rather than party loyalty alone, stressing that elected representatives must remain accountable to the people who gave them their mandate.

The senatorial candidate further said the NDC would work towards building a political structure capable of responding to the needs of workers, youths, women, entrepreneurs, farmers and other groups whose livelihoods depend on a functional economy and responsive government.

Falaiye urged residents of Ondo Central and the people of Ondo State to critically examine the available political alternatives ahead of the 2027 elections, saying the NDC is ready to provide what he described as a fresh approach to governance and representation.

He said the party’s objective is to make citizens happier through people oriented policies, effective representation and responsible leadership.

The NDC candidate called on eligible voters to participate actively in the electoral process and make their voices count, expressing confidence that a new political chapter can be opened for Ondo State through collective action and informed choices.
