ONDO APC ELDERS PAY SOLIDARITY VISIT TO ALHAJI ISA OLORUNTOBA, AFFIRM HIS LEADERSHIP ROLE

Representatives of the Ondo State APC Elders paid a solidarity visit on Wednesday, September 23, to the residence of the party’s elder statesman and Chairman, Alhaji Isa Oloruntoba, in Ogbagi Akoko.

During the visit, the distinguished elders unanimously affirmed that, in line with the established order of succession, the mantle of leadership of the Ondo State APC Elders should naturally fall on Alhaji Isa Oloruntoba following the transition to eternity of the late Pa Erasmus Akeju.

The elders described the visit as an opportunity to demonstrate their solidarity, respect and continued commitment to the unity and progress of the elders’ forum and the party in Ondo State.

They also expressed appreciation to their beloved son, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo (BTO), for his recent gesture of donating a jeep to the Chairman, Alhaji Isa Oloruntoba. They prayed for God’s continued blessings, protection, wisdom and prosperity upon him for his generosity and support.

The elders further emphasized the importance of unity, mutual respect and collective responsibility among party elders in strengthening the APC and supporting its leadership in the state.

Those present at the solidarity visit included Chief Moses B. Oyedele; Justice Olasehinde Kumuyi, retired Chief Judge of Ondo State; Engr. Muyiwa Ogunleye, popularly known as Beatron, former Member of the House of Representatives; Dr. M. O. Terebo; Pastor Blessing O. Isimijola; Chief Temitope Oluyide; Elder J. K. Alonge; Elder Michael O. Ojo; AKSE Coordinator, Betty Okeyomi; Otunba Cally Afe; and Otunba Agboola Kelly, the inaugurated Secretary of the Elders.
