ASKING ABOUT MONEY SPENT BY ASPIRANTS

Which exactly money are you referring to that other aspirants did not spend? It is important to realize that attaching importance to money in this matter is mistaken. No one is being forced into politics or election contests. Once you decide to run for a position, you should expect to spend money because politics can be expensive. It is understandable that other aspirants spent money when the senate election was manipulated in his favour.
The point I’m emphasizing is that some of the complaining aspirants benefited from the same process they are now criticizing. They should not be complaining now since they used similar tactics to gain power. Some who joined APC late were rewarded for their involvement in questionable actions with Governor Akeredolu, yet they are now denouncing the very process that elevated them to the senate. It is a complex and sometimes hypocritical situation.
No doubt, the elections took place in all 18 local governments without any manipulations, unlike the previous ones that got some candidates elected. This time, it was a fair, transparent, and credible election, which the APC had not done before in its primaries since the party’s formation.
