RE: THE RECKLESS COMMENTS BY MOGBOJURI ON PARTY COORDINATION IN ONDO STATE

The call by the Ondo State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, *Hon. Kolawole Babatunde*, that all support groups working for the reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu should register under the leadership of the party in the state is a call for inclusivity. It is a call for order. It is a call for victory.
That directive, issued under the authority of the party structure led by our Governor, *His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa*, and the State Chairman, Hon. Kolawole Babatunde, seeks to bring everyone together. It seeks to harmonize effort, protect genuine supporters, and stop fifth columnists from hijacking the President’s name for personal gain. Only a man who hates unity will fight against inclusivity.
We must reject the false narrative being peddled in some quarters that only a serving Minister is responsible for mobilizing the party’s support base for Mr. President’s reelection. That claim is untrue, misleading, and dangerous. The APC is not a one-man enterprise. Victory is not won by one hand. All hands must be on deck to deliver Ondo State for President Tinubu. Governor Aiyedatiwa is the leader of the party in the state. Hon. Kolawole Babatunde is the head of the party structure. Any mobilization outside that structure is rebellion, not support.
It is therefore shocking and disappointing that one *Mogbojuri* would describe the call for support groups to register for profiling as “stupidity.” Such a reckless statement is unwarranted. It is the language of a man who lacks love for this party and who shows every sign of improper upbringing. Decent human beings do not insult genuine efforts at peace and coordination. Only those who profit from chaos mock the call for order.
To abuse party leaders and ridicule a lawful directive is not politics. It is irresponsibility. The reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is too important to be left to the whims of arrogant individuals who believe they are bigger than the party. Ondo APC will not be handed over to street talk and indiscipline.
Let it be clear: every group that loves President Tinubu and wants him reelected must register under the party structure led by Governor Aiyedatiwa and Chairman Kolawole Babatunde. That is the path of loyalty. That is the path of victory. Anything else is anti-party, and history will record those who choose division over unity.
