
Royal Blessings for National Service as Ooni of Ife Receives Delegation

In a moment of cultural significance and national recognition, Mrs. Egbunike Faustina Ngozi—President of the Police Widows Association of Nigeria and Vice President of the Joint Widows Association of Nigeria, and wife of the late Deputy Inspector General (DIG)—recently received royal blessings during a courtesy visit to the palace of the revered monarch, Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi.
Mrs. Egbunike, who also serves as Chairperson of Youth Beyond Borders for Peace Enlightenment Foundation and is an aspirant for the AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), under the visionary leadership of the Honourable Minister, Nyesom Wike.
The visit underscored her commitment to grassroots empowerment, national unity, and humanitarian service.
During the engagement, the Ooni of Ife offered special royal prayers and blessings, acknowledging her dedication to widows’ welfare, youth development, and peace advocacy across Nigeria.
Also present at the historic visit was Ambassador Olu-Wole Mike, popularly known as Ambassador Pesther, the National Chairman of the “I Believe in One Nigeria Project” and Publisher of Nigeria Magazine Host. Ambassador Pesther, known for his influential media platform and podcast, was equally honored with royal blessings by the monarch.
The Ooni commended Ambassador Pesther’s relentless efforts as a strategic brand icon in projecting the landmark achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
His media contributions were recognized as instrumental in shaping public perception and strengthening national discourse, particularly in the lead-up to the anticipated 2027 presidential elections.
The royal audience highlighted the importance of unity, visionary leadership, and the role of influential individuals in nation-building.
It also reaffirmed the Ooni of Ife’s continued support for initiatives that promote peace, development, and national cohesion.
