
Patrick-jayeola Kunle Egunjobi Hails Lucky Aiyedatiwa Over ₦50 Million Women Empowerment Initiative

In celebration of International Women’s Day, House of Assembly aspirant for Akure South Constituency II, Kunle Egunjobi, has commended the Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, for the ₦50 million empowerment initiative aimed at supporting women across the state.
Egunjobi described the gesture as a significant step toward promoting gender inclusion, economic independence, and grassroots development.
According to him, the initiative reflects the governor’s commitment to uplifting women and strengthening their role in economic growth.
Speaking in Akure, the aspirant noted that empowering women is critical to building resilient communities.
He emphasized that the financial support and resources provided under the scheme would help women expand their businesses, improve their livelihoods, and contribute more meaningfully to the local economy.
Egunjobi further aligned himself with the governor’s development agenda, pledging to support and complement such initiatives if elected into the Ondo State House of Assembly. He stressed that effective representation requires collaboration with the executive arm to deliver people oriented programs.
As part of his political message, Egunjobi called on residents of Akure South Constituency II to rally behind his aspiration to represent them at the state legislature. He assured constituents of his dedication to inclusive policies, youth and women empowerment, and sustainable development.
“I am committed to being a strong voice for our people, ensuring that opportunities like this empowerment initiative reach more individuals at the grassroots,” he stated.
He concluded by reaffirming his readiness to serve, urging constituents to support his ambition in order to bring responsive and impactful representation to Akure South Constituency II.
