Otunba Gbenga Elewuetu attends Ondo North Senatorial Stakeholders’ meeting.
At the Ondo North Senatorial Stakeholders Meeting held today in Owo, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa spoke optimistically about the party’s preparedness for the forthcoming general elections, expressing confidence in a united and successful outing.
Speaking with journalists after the meeting, Otunba Gbenga Elewuetu, the leading aspirant for House of Representatives Akoko South East/West Federal Constituency, commended the Governor, Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and the party chairman, Hon. Kolawole Babatunde, for their foresight in decentralizing the stakeholders’ meetings. He noted that the approach has created an avenue for grassroots participation, ensuring that party members at all levels are carried along in the decision-making process.
Otunba Elewuetu further expressed strong confidence in the party’s ability to conduct free, fair, and credible primary elections. He affirmed that regardless of the mode of primary adopted, be it direct or consensus, he remains assured of securing the party’s ticket, citing his widespread support and connection with the grassroots in the constituency.
