ONDO APC CHAIRMAN RECEIVES RENEWED HOPE AMBASSADORS AS OLABIMTAN RENEWS ONE-MILLION-VOTE PLEDGE FOR TINUBU’S 2027 RE-ELECTION BID

The State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Rt. Hon. Victor Olabimtan, this morning led a high-level courtesy visit to the Ondo State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Hon. Kolawole Babatunde, at the Party’s State Secretariat in Akure.

The delegation included State Secretary Hon. Ogunyemi and Director of Media and Publicity Hon. Kenneth Odusola-Stevenson, alongside other members of the Chapter’s Executive. The engagement was convened to deepen institutional alignment between the APC and the presidential support group ahead of the formal inauguration of the Ondo State Chapter.

During the visit, Rt. Hon. Olabimtan renewed the group’s strategic pledge to mobilise across the 18 local government areas of Ondo State to deliver one million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, ahead of the 2027 re-election bid. He stated that the Renewed Hope Ambassadors function as a disciplined extension of the APC, not as a parallel body, and will deploy market sensitisation, ward-level engagements, and community outreach to consolidate grassroots support for the Renewed Hope Agenda.

Olabimtan acknowledged the transitional implications of ongoing federal economic reforms but maintained that President Tinubu’s policy direction is calibrated to reposition Nigeria toward a trillion-dollar economy and sustained industrialisation. He pledged that the Ambassadors would operate under the guidance and authority of the party’s leadership, reinforcing rather than rivaling the APC’s campaign architecture.

In his remarks, APC State Chairman Hon. Kolawole Babatunde described the courtesy visit as timely and politically consequential. He commended Rt. Hon. Olabimtan for consistent loyalty through the party’s congress cycle and welcomed the renewed one million vote pledge for 2027. Babatunde emphasised that cohesion between the party and affiliated support groups is indispensable to securing comprehensive victory for all APC candidates and ensuring legislative-executive synergy on national policy.

The Chairman noted the continued support of the Governor of Ondo State, who serves as Leader of the Party in the state and as Chairman of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors. He dismissed contrary narratives as incapable of altering the APC’s trajectory, adding that the early dividends of the President’s reforms are already visible.

*The Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Ondo State Chapter, will be officially inaugurated tomorrow, Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at The Arcade, Ondo State House of Assembly Ground, Akure.* The Governor is expected to preside over the launch in his capacity as Party Leader and Chairman of the group.

The vote of thanks was delivered by Director of Media and Publicity, Hon. Kenneth Odusola-Stevenson, who conveyed the group’s appreciation to the State Chairman and the State Working Committee, and reaffirmed its commitment to the collective success of the APC in Ondo State.
