My Biggest Regret” — Olaiya Igwe Opens Up on Painful Incident with Tope Alabi
Following the release of Olaiya Igwe highly successful movie, titled “Ololade Mr Money”, he bought himself an expensive Mercedes Benz Car, Which was very rare at that time, & He Customized the car plate number with the inscription of his then trending movie title “Ololade Mr Money”.
During this period, Popular Nigerian Gospel Singer, Tope Alabi & her husband were preparing for their marriage and they contacted Olaiya Igwe for him to borrow them his newly acquired Luxury Mercedes Benz Car, As their bridal Rides, & Olaiya promised to give them.
But on the wedding day, He disappointed them and refused to pick their calls without communicating his reasons for not keeping to his promise.
Just recently, around October 2025, in an interview, Olaiya said he really wish Tope Alabi & her husband can forgive him for that incident, & he described it to be the most regrettable mistake of his life.
