APC Chieftain Lawrence Adenugba Declares Support for Aiyedatiwa’s Consensus Candidates Ahead of APC Primaries

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Lawrence Adenugba, has declared his support for the consensus candidates endorsed ahead of the party’s forthcoming primaries, reaffirming his confidence in the leadership and political direction of Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

Adenugba, while speaking on recent political developments within the APC in Ondo State, stressed that Governor Aiyedatiwa remains the undisputed leader of the party in the state and deserves the loyalty, cooperation, and support of members across all levels.

According to him, party unity and discipline remain critical to the APC’s continued strength and electoral success, especially as preparations intensify for future political contests.

He noted that the decision surrounding consensus arrangements should be viewed through the lens of collective party interest rather than individual ambition.

The APC stalwart stated that every political party thrives on leadership and structure, emphasizing that Governor Aiyedatiwa, as the sitting governor and leader of the party in Ondo State, possesses the constitutional and political responsibility to guide the affairs of the party.

“Governor Aiyedatiwa remains the leader of our party in Ondo State. As loyal members, we must continue to respect constituted authority and support decisions aimed at strengthening our party,” Adenugba reportedly stated.
