Man caught at UCH Ibadan after he allegedly st0le a phone and multiple doctors’ ATM cards
A man was reportedly apprehended at University College Hospital after allegedly being found with a stolen phone and several ATM cards said to belong to doctors at the facility.
According to reports, both patients and medical personnel had previously complained about the disappearance of personal belongings, including phones, laptops, ATM cards, and motorcycles.
Witnesses said the suspect was caught shortly after allegedly stealing a phone within the hospital premises. Following his apprehension, the device was reportedly recovered.
A witness who shared a video of the incident on X claimed that when the suspect was searched, several ATM cards belonging to doctors, which had reportedly gone missing in recent weeks, were found in his possession.
The witness further alleged that medical staff at the hospital had experienced repeated cases of missing valuables over time and suggested that the suspect may have been involved in previous incidents.
The allegations have generated reactions online, with many calling for a thorough investigation into the matter.
