DEMOCRACY DAY 2026: CHAIRMAN, NSITF MANAGEMENT BOARD, HON. ENGR. SOLA OLOFIN FELICITATES WITH NIGERIANS
The Chairman of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) Management Board, Hon. Engr. Sola Olofin, has congratulated Nigerians on the occasion of the 2026 Democracy Day celebration, describing June 12 as a historic milestone that symbolizes the nation’s commitment to democratic governance, freedom, and the rule of law.
Hon. Engr. Olofin noted that Democracy Day provides an opportunity for Nigerians to reflect on the sacrifices of heroes and heroines who fought for the entrenchment of democracy and the protection of citizens’ rights. He emphasized the need for continued support for democratic institutions and active participation in the nation’s development.
He commended the efforts of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration in strengthening democratic ideals and implementing policies aimed at promoting economic growth, social welfare, and national stability. He also urged Nigerians to remain united, peaceful, and hopeful as the country continues its journey toward greater prosperity.
According to him, democracy thrives when citizens and leaders work together in mutual trust, accountability, and service to the common good. He therefore encouraged all Nigerians to continue upholding the values of patriotism, tolerance, and national unity
Hon. Engr. Sola Olofin wished all Nigerians a peaceful and memorable Democracy Day celebration and prayed for continued progress, peace, and development across the country.
