My distinguished people of Owo and Ose, I write with profound gratitude and a deep sense of responsibility occasioned by the extraordinary demonstration of solidarity, conviction and political maturity exhibited during the APC Senatorial Primary of 18th May, 2026.
On that defining day, you rose above partisan calculations and transient interests to affirm a timeless principle: that justice, equity and fair representation remain the cornerstones of democratic engagement. Your overwhelming support was neither procured through inducement nor orchestrated through coercion; it emanated naturally from the collective conscience of a people determined to uphold what is right and honourable. Such a spontaneous convergence of purpose has become increasingly rare in contemporary political history and will undoubtedly remain a reference point in the annals of our district.
As we patiently await the issuance of the corrected and definitive declaration by the National Working Committee of our great party, the events of that day continue to resonate with unmistakable clarity. They answered, beyond conjecture or controversy, several fundamental questions about our political identity and collective aspirations. They affirmed that Owo and Ose remain united by a common destiny; that the people of Owo remain vigilant and resolute whenever issues affecting the legitimate interests of their sons and daughters arise; and that Owo has not relinquished its historic reputation as a bastion of political enlightenment, strategic leadership and progressive thought within Western Nigeria.
The verdict delivered by the people was unequivocal. The political headquarters of Ondo North once again demonstrated its capacity to shape discourse, influence direction and provide principled leadership. In doing so, you reminded friends and adversaries alike that the voice of Owo remains a formidable force within the democratic architecture of our state and nation.
I also extend my sincere appreciation to the numerous patriots, stakeholders, party faithful and well-wishers who continue to labour diligently behind the scenes to ensure that due process prevails and that the sanctity of the democratic mandate is preserved. History has consistently shown that truth may be delayed but it cannot be permanently denied. Your commitment to justice, transparency and constitutional propriety shall not be in vain.
With faith in the supremacy of due process and confidence in the eventual triumph of fairness, I remain convinced that the aspirations of our people will be vindicated. The celebration that awaits us shall not merely be one of personal accomplishment but of collective victory, democratic integrity and the restoration of the rightful place of Ondo North in the political equation of our state.
Thank you, Owo.
Thank you, Ose.
Together, we shall prevail. Together, we shall advance the cause of justice. Together, we shall reclaim and redeem the promise of Ondo North.
Alexander Oluremi Ajipe
