Governor’s Aide Urges VeryDarkMan To Apologise To Adeboye

ASABA, DELTA STATE — Ossai Ovie Success, an aide to the Delta State Governor, has urged social media critic VeryDarkMan to apologise to Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) over comments he made about the respected cleric. According to Ossai, the activist has remained unwilling to tender an apology despite calls from some Nigerians.

Ossai said he had personally appealed to VeryDarkMan to apologise to the clergyman but claimed that the social media personality was proving difficult on the matter. He also suggested that the activist may believe that criticising religious leaders could increase his popularity among supporters.

“I have called on VeryDarkMan to apologise to Pastor E.A. Adeboye, but he is proving difficult,” Ossai said. He added that attacking spirituality and dragging a man of God into controversy should not be used as a way to gain public attention.
