BAT VANGUARD ENDORSES PRESIDENT BOLA AHMED TINUBU FOR A SECOND TERM, LAUNCHES NATIONWIDE GRASSROOTS MOBILISATION AHEAD OF 2027

The leadership and members of BAT Vanguard, one of the largest support groups within the All Progressives Congress (APC), under the leadership of its National Convener, Engr. Sola Olofin, have unanimously endorsed His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and Vice President Kashim Shettima, GCON, for a second term in the forthcoming 2027 General Elections.

The endorsement was accompanied by the unveiling of a nationwide grassroots outreach campaign designed to deepen citizen engagement, strengthen support for the Renewed Hope Agenda, and mobilise millions of Nigerians across wards, polling units, local government areas, and states to ensure another resounding victory for the APC in 2027.

Speaking at the unveiling, the Convener, Engr. Sola Olofin, reaffirmed the group’s unwavering commitment to the Tinubu-Shettima administration, noting that BAT Vanguard remains dedicated to advancing the vision of a prosperous, united, and economically competitive Nigeria.

He stated that the group would once again deploy the same grassroots strategy that contributed significantly to the APC’s success in the 2023 general elections through intensive house-to-house and door-to-door mobilisation, community engagement, voter education, stakeholder consultations, youth mobilisation, women inclusion programmes, and strategic media advocacy.

According to him, the endorsement is based on the bold and transformative reforms initiated by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, which are laying the foundation for sustainable national development and positioning Nigeria to compete among the world’s leading progressive economies.

The group highlighted several achievements and ongoing reforms of the administration, including:

– Bold economic reforms aimed at stabilising the economy and restoring long-term fiscal sustainability.
– Massive investments in road, rail, energy, housing, and other critical infrastructure to accelerate industrialisation and economic growth.
– Expansion of local government autonomy and governance reforms to strengthen grassroots development.
– Increased investment in agriculture and food security initiatives to boost local production and reduce dependence on imports.
– Renewed focus on youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, digital innovation, and skills development.
– Expansion of access to student financing through educational support initiatives.
– Strengthening national security through enhanced investment in security agencies and improved operational capacity.
– Reforms in the oil and gas sector designed to attract investment, increase domestic refining capacity, and improve energy security.
– Policies aimed at improving the ease of doing business, attracting foreign direct investment, and expanding opportunities for local industries.
– Continued implementation of social intervention programmes targeted at vulnerable Nigerians.

Engr. Olofin acknowledged that while some reforms have required difficult adjustments, they are necessary steps toward building a stronger, more resilient, and globally competitive Nigerian economy that will benefit future generations.

BAT Vanguard therefore called on Nigerians, particularly APC members, youths, women, professionals, artisans, market associations, and community leaders, to rally behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima by supporting their re-election in 2027.

The group emphasised that continuity of the Renewed Hope Agenda would consolidate ongoing reforms, accelerate infrastructure development, expand economic opportunities, create jobs, strengthen national unity, and secure a more prosperous future for all Nigerians.

BAT Vanguard pledged to intensify its nationwide mobilisation efforts through sustained grassroots engagement, community outreach, and voter education campaigns to ensure overwhelming support for the APC at every polling unit across the country.
